Falla Hill Primary School Nursery Class is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Advanced Pupil Support Worker within our Nursery team. The successful candidate will work as part of a forward thinking team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and will respond to the individual needs of identified children, providing high quality interactions and learning and teaching experiences.
Falla Hill Nursery Class is situated within the village of Fauldhouse and serves the local area. The nursery consists of full day learners and is open four days a week/term time - Monday to Thursday. The building provides a compact but quality learning area, and benefits from access to an outdoor and garden area. Falla Hill Nursery Class falls under the management of Falla Hill Primary School.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
