Responsibilities- Nurturing and motivated pupil support in relation to the child's care, health, wellbeing and safety to ensure a secure and safe learning environment.
- Provide general support to pupils within an educational setting and help foster positive relationships.
- Work effectively as part of the ELC team to support the learning of the children.
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). The successful candidate will have three months from commencement to register and to start working towards a relevant qualification within five years.
- If already registered with SSSC, you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account.
- This post is Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment.
