West Lothian is located in the central belt, within easy commuting distance of Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow and is supported by excellent road and rail links.
Reporting to the IT Service Centre Manager, this is a post within the IT Services structure and is critical in the delivery of effective and efficient IT Services. As an IT Service Desk Analyst you will be responsible for providing a first class technical IT Service Desk to all IT customers, you will be the first point of contact for customers and will help maintain West Lothian Council\’s IT Infrastructure using the latest technologies to provide first time fixes and request fulfilment.
The post will work closely with the IT Service Centre Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Project Managers, IT Engineers and other colleagues within IT Services covering areas including providing an excellent IT service provision to all of our customers.
IT Services structure is based on ITILv3 and you must have a solid understanding, knowledge and experience of good practice.
Applicants will have proven experience implementing and supporting client and server management technologies in a multi-site, multi-security profile compliance organisation, including a minimum of three years working within a Microsoft SCCM environment.
