Bathgate Academy is a comprehensive non-denominational school and serves a cluster of five primary schools. The school roll is projected to be 1210 in session 25/26 and this is steadily rising due to housing developments within the area and an ever increasing confidence from the community about the standard of education we provide.
Our motivated staff, students, parents, carers and the community we serve have worked hard to further improve all aspects of our school.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual as an Administration Assistant to join the team in the school office. The post will have a clear focus on delivering high quality administrative support within Bathgate Academy. The successful candidate will have responsibility for administrative operations, following West Lothian Council policies and procedures, in order to ensure the effective day to day running of the school and working closely in partnership with staff, parents/carers and learners.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
