Salary: Grade 4 Points 18 to 22

West Lothian College is looking to appoint an outstanding Skills Coach to join our Business, Creative, and Enterprise faculty, working closely with our Hairdressing team. The appointed candidate will have the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on learners lives by helping them overcome personal challenges, equipping them with the necessary skills and confidence to gain their qualifications and thrive in their chosen culinary careers.
This is a great opportunity for you to combine your hairdressing expertise with your compassion for guiding and empowering learners. You will play a pivotal role in boosting their confidence, motivation, and engagement, helping them navigate their hairdressing journey and succeed in the face of challenges by building a supportive and nurturing environment
The successful candidate should be educated to SCQF level 7 or equivalent in hairdressing. There must also be evidence of relevant Hairdressing industry experience and an understanding of skills required to thrive in employment.
This is a sessional role so you will only work during term time. Further details regarding being a sessional member of staff be found in the attached document.
