Finance Assistant

Finance, Procurement and Student Funding Team

Start Date: October 2025

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Grade 3 Points 11 to 18

£27,839 to £31,283 per annum

(salary subject to pending job evaluation)

West Lothian College is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join our Finance, Procurement & Student Funding Team. This role is essential in the support and co-ordination of the Finance function. The successful candidate will work within a team of five who share the transactional work of the department. The candidate will be expected to assist and cover any area of work as per the job description.

You will be required to have experience of working in a busy finance environment with computerised accounting and related systems, excellent IT skills and you must be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.

We offer hybrid working with the flexibility to work from home and on our college campus, and can be discussed further during interview.
