WLS are looking for a Fire Engineer.

Location: West Norwood, London.

Salary: Depending on Experience.

Hours: 8:30-17:00 Mon-Fri.

Now is the time to join the team. Over the next 3 years WLS intends to quadruple their turnover, growing the business into a titan of the industry. We are looking for an experienced fire engineer to join us on that journey. This will be an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their skills in an exciting industry, whilst being given the ability to progress through the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • You will be fault finding and servicing a range of fire alarm systems including Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-Tec, Gent, EMS and all other conventional panels.
  • You will also need to be able to add and remove devices on the above panels.
  • Able to complete small works fire installation.
  • The role involves traveling in and around London and the M25 corridor and some outer areas of London.
  • The company offers consistent training and would look to progress your career and responsibilities over other engineers.

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience fault finding and servicing fire alarm systems.
  • It would be beneficial to your application if you have experience installing and servicing Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-Tec, EMS and EDA systems.
  • Any electrical or fire alarm (FIA, British Consortium, etc) qualifications would also be beneficial to your application.
  • You need to be able to understand drawings, write detailed reports and be good with paperwork.
  • You will need to be able to integrate panels.
  • You will need strong interpersonal skills.
  • You must have a UK driving license.
  • You must be based in the London / Home Counties areas north of the River Thames.
  • The above is by no means exhaustive, you may be required to carry out other duties in line with your skill set as and when the company deem necessary.
