Senior Psychological Wellbeing Facilitator (PWP)

We are a well-established service looking for an enthusiastic Senior PWP to join our friendly team. We welcome applicants who enjoy variety, new experiences and autonomy.

Please note that this post involves being able to work at least one evening session per week (12pm – 8pm) and you will have to have a minimum of 1-year post qualification experience in a Talking Therapies service as well as supervisory experience.

You Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Lead on specialist interests and service development within the Step 2 Team.
  • Line manage staff.
  • Provide supervision of staff.

We are committed to delivering an excellent professional psychological service. You will contribute by delivering mental health screening assessments and psychological interventions (including more complex cases appropriate to Step 2 work) with the support of a qualified team member, and working independently according to a plan agreed with your line manager within the framework of our policies and procedures.

You Will Take Pride In

  • Supporting the PWP Professional Lead/Senior Management Team to ensure the smooth operation of the Step 2 team.
  • Assisting in clinically related admin, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
  • Supporting the Step 2 team via the provision of supervision and line management.
  • Supporting and inducting new staff to the Step 2 Team.
  • Working with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary. You should be committed to equal opportunities.
  • Screening new referrals and making decisions about the suitability of referrals. Offering a range of treatment options including GSH and groups.
