Overview
We are looking for a positive, proactive and enthusiastic person to work across both chronic disease management and urgent care to support the current specialist team with delivering venepuncture often in challenging and complex circumstances and/or environments. There is opportunity to deliver health promotion to our patients and support the facilitation of specialist consultant and nurse led clinics. You will also be required to undertake recording of NEWS2 observations and ECGs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver venepuncture and related clinical tasks in challenging and/or complex environments.
- Deliver health promotion to patients as appropriate.
- Support facilitation of specialist consultant and nurse-led clinics.
- Record NEWS2 observations and ECGs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Engage with a multi-professional team and provide care to patients with complex and challenging Mental Health issues.

Role Requirements
The post holder must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide high standards of patient care. The hours of service are currently 08:00 – 16:00h Mon-Fri; however a flexible working approach is required.
