The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.

Main duties of the job
Qualified modality practitioner with postgraduate training in counselling, psychotherapy, or counselling psychology, fully accredited with BACP or UKCP, and trained in one or more Talking Therapies‑approved specialist modalities.
Work full‑time: at least one evening session (12pm‑8pm, Monday‑Thursday) and an average of 20 attended clinical contacts per week (treatment, assessments, meetings, admin, therapy groups, supervision, project work).
Develop project management, leadership, and supervision skills.
Flexible or part‑time hours available.
Experience required in risk management, assessment, formulation and treating disorders appropriate for Talking Therapies.
CPD and supervision support gaps.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate training in counselling, psychotherapy or counselling psychology or core mental health profession (nursing, OT) plus a post‑graduate diploma or higher degree in counselling or psychotherapy.
Fully accredited with BACP or UKCP (psychotherapeutic counsellor).
Professional registration with appropriate body (e.g. PSA or HPC).
Completed training in one or more Talking Therapies‑approved specialist modality trainings: DIT, CFD, IPT, EMDR, etc.
Qualification in clinical supervision.
Qualified Supervisor in Talking Therapies‑approved modality therapy.
Experience
Specialist psychological assessment and treatment experience within a Talking Therapies service.
Experience with a wide variety of client groups and presenting problems of varying clinical severity.
Experience working at a specialist level with psychological therapies.
Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision.
Application of counselling in diverse cultural contexts.
Knowledge and Skills
High‑level knowledge of theory and practice of counselling and psychotherapy.
Knowledge of primary and secondary care psychological therapies services.
Skills in complex psychological assessment, intervention and management.
Effective communication skills, orally and in writing, including complex technical information.
Knowledge of specialised therapies for difficult to treat groups.
Knowledge of relevant legislation regarding client group and mental health.
