We are looking for dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, or Social Workers to join our Liaison Psychiatry Services. We have vacancies in the boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow. Our services are provided at Ealing Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital.
The teams comprise Consultant Liaison Psychiatrists, Trainee doctors, Foundation Year doctors, Liaison Psychiatry Practitioners, and Team Administrators. Office spaces are located within the hospitals we serve, with strong working relationships established with both clinical and managerial staff.

We will assist with obtaining a certificate of sponsorship. Your responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments for patients attending the Urgent Treatment Centre, Emergency Department, or admitted on medical wards with mental health needs. Patients may present with emotional issues, self-harm, psychiatric crises, psychosomatic disorders, or psychological issues related to physical health.
You will care for patients aged 16 and above, including CAMHS patients, those living with dementia, older adults, and general adult patients. You will adopt a person-centered approach, making autonomous decisions based on complex presentations, with access to clinical supervision. Family and carer involvement will be encouraged when appropriate, and collaboration with other health and social care professionals will be essential for safe discharge planning.
You will provide formal and informal training to peers and colleagues to improve patient care and will be encouraged to contribute ideas for service improvement.
