An opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist to join our Clinical Neuropsychology Service. We are part of the wider Clinical Health and Neuropsychology Service, providing neuropsychology and clinical health services within the London borough of Ealing. The Clinical Neuropsychology Service is integrated across both the Community Neurorehabilitation Team (Enable) and the inpatient Level 3 Neurorehabilitation Unit at Clayponds Hospital, providing psychologically‑informed assessment and intervention across the rehabilitation pathway. The postholder will join a well‑established multidisciplinary service working closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, rehabilitation assistants, nursing and medical colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Provide highly specialist neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation for individuals with neurological conditions, including cognitive assessment and rehabilitation, psychological therapy, behavioural interventions, and consultation to the multidisciplinary team.
- Work with families and carers, and contribute to teaching, supervision, and service development.
- Assist in clinically related administration, collection of statistics, and development of audit and/or research projects.
- Primarily based within the Community Neurorehabilitation Team, supporting patients in their homes, community settings and outpatient clinics, with potential involvement in the inpatient neurorehabilitation unit as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of neuropsychological rehabilitation and/or neuropsychological assessment and intervention with patients with neurological conditions.
- Experience working with diverse client groups, teamwork, providing consultation and teaching to other health professionals, and contributing to service development.
