Due to internal promotion, Ealing Talking Therapies are looking for a qualified PWP to join our supportive and highly regarded Step 2 Ealing Talking Therapies (previously IAPT) team. We support a diverse population, living our Trust Values of Togetherness, Responsibility, Excellence and Caring.

Responsibilities

  • Providing screening assessments, case management and treatment at Low Intensity/Step 2, following agreed protocols.
  • Taking personal responsibility for achieving agreed clinical activity relating to the number of agreed contact hours per week.
  • Assisting patients in the use of computer therapy programmes as part of their clinical care, and evaluating their use.
  • Assisting specific psychological clinical work with adult patients, such as going out with patients in exposure work and relaxation training, and guiding patients through self‑help manuals under the supervision of a qualified member of the Talking Therapies team.
  • Assisting in the coordination and running of therapeutic groups.
  • Assisting in the development of a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all clients of the service, across all settings where care takes place.
  • Attending and contributing to our multi‑disciplinary meetings.

  • Qualified PWP.
