A great opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Manager within our Capital Estates and Facilities Broadmoor Hospital, Crowthorne. The post holder will assist the Head of Estates & Facilities in the development of robust Facilities management processes to enable the provision of rationalised, efficient, customer-focused, and high-quality facilities services. The post holder will have overall responsibility for the operations supporting the delivery of all patient and non-patient hospital domestic, transport, portering, receipt and distribution, waste, and grounds and gardening services across the Broadmoor estate. The post-holder will provide specialist management, advice, and support on soft services across the Broadmoor sites, with a focus on patient safety, clinician satisfaction, and wherever possible, cost efficiencies. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Manager to provide excellent leadership for the department. To have delegated responsibility for the management, coordination, and monitoring of building maintenance activities using both directly employed labour and contractual services to ensure the estate is maintained in such a condition that it fulfills its functions effectively, safely, economically, and efficiently, whilst ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and trust policies.
