Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical risk and mental state assessments.
  • Provide short‑term psychological interventions.
  • Signpost patients to the most appropriate care.
  • Validate, de‑escalate crisis and coach people in distress tolerance and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Formulate plans and coach people in distress tolerance and emotional regulation strategies using brief psychological interventions.
