Join our dynamic team at West London NHS Trust as a part-time Medicines Management & Patient Service Technician in our Older Adult Service, working alongside an existing part-time technician. You’ll share responsibilities in delivering high-quality pharmacy services across both inpatient and community settings, with a focus on older adults and dementia care. As a Medicines Management & Patient Service Technician, you will provide a specialist, patient-focused technical pharmacy service in both inpatient and community settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Dispensing and checking medications
  • Managing stock control
  • Overseeing medicines reconciliation at Level 2
  • Coordinating the workflow in the dispensary
  • Supporting the pharmacy assistants
  • Maintaining high standards of medicines management across various teams
  • Providing advice and support to patients and staff, ensuring safe and effective use of medications

Additionally, you’ll be developing your skills in a technician-led dispensary.
