We are seeking a dynamic, welcoming, friendly, highly organised Administrator and Receptionist to support our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services at Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS. Your role will include dealing with queries from service users, relatives, other members of the public and professionals. You will also have an important role in helping the service to run efficiently in a busy and often demanding environment.

This role will involve frontline tasks, including:

  • Dealing with visitors
  • Telephone enquiries
  • Booking rooms
  • Making appointments
  • Reception duties
  • Data entry
  • Using the in-house IT systems

Assisting with booking patients for clinics, entering and processing referrals, processing letters for the clinical teams. There will be other general administrative tasks involved to support the CAMHS team.

Eligibility & Key Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good telephone manners
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact: manage reception, calls, emails and correspondence professionally
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with statutory and organisational requirements
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold confidentiality
  • Coordinate meetings: prepare agendas, take minutes and distribute documentation
  • Manage data entry and updates on RIO and other systems within Trust deadlines
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment and ensure Health & Safety compliance
  • Support audits, statistical returns and performance monitoring
