About the Role
As an IELTS Examiner, you will be part of the Test Centre team, supporting the delivery of speaking examinations in strict accordance with British Council regulations and standards. You will play a vital role in ensuring assessments are conducted fairly, accurately, and professionally.
About You
You will be confident in dealing with students in a firm yet approachable manner and able to remain calm and professional when working under pressure.
Essential requirements:
- Degree-level qualification
- An English teaching qualification such as CELTA or DELTA
Desirable attributes include:
- Significant teaching experience
- Experience as an accredited assessor or examiner
- Previous IELTS Examiner training
- Excellent communication skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
