West Lodge Nursing Home – Nottingham.

Established since 1987, this 24 bedded Home in Sherwood, Nottingham specialises in residential, nursing and dementia care and is family led.

The Handyman\’s core role shall include the following:

• Regular checks of the building and equipment to ensure safety
• Painting, joinery, cleaning the outside of the building, fixing equipment – general maintenance of the Home
• complete all necessary paperwork
• undertake training and staff meetings necessary to the role.

Essential:

• Team player and ability to work alone
• Previous experience in maintenance
• Ability to work evenings when required and on call if needed
• Caring nature
• Reliable and committed
• Willingness to undertake vocational training

Desirable:

• Driving licence and vehicle.

Successful applicants will be DBS checked.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour
