Overview

Band 13 – £51,356 to £54,495 per annum

Full time 37hrs per week (part time would also be considered)

Based at the Guildhall, Gainsborough (with provision to work from home)

Flexi time and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.

29 days annual leave, rising to 34 after 5 years’ service (excl Bank Hols).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a small team of Finance Business Partners and oversee the Business Support Finance functions.
  • Lead on budget monitoring, the annual review of fees and charges and budget setting, contributing to the production of the Council’s five-year Medium Term Financial Plan.
  • Assist in the production of the annual Statement of Accounts, ensuring compliance with recommended practice and accounting policies.
  • Work with the recently implemented OneFinance system to develop and enhance financial insight across the Council, in collaboration with the Corporate Finance Team Leader.
