It’s time to join West Lancs as we embark on delivering our new and ambitious Vision and Priorities. With a focus on environmental sustainability, generating economic prosperity, building inclusive & healthy communities and financial resilience, we are looking for exceptional candidates to help shape our future.
Following restructure and team expansion, West Lancashire Borough Council is recruiting to a new Team Leader post for the Private Sector Housing section. As Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of the section. The day to day workload is diverse, including a range of complaint work, caravan site licensing, HMO licensing of circa 250 HMO's, empty properties, displaced persons programme and affordable warmth grant programme.
You will be pivotal in developing and delivering strategic plans for service delivery and will be a champion of change. We are looking for passionate and experienced Officers with excellent communication skills. We welcome applications from existing managers looking for a change in direction or candidates with supervisory experience looking to develop into a management role.
