We are currently seeking to appoint a District Caretaker (Scale 4) to join our District Caretaking service within Facilities Services based at the Westgate in Skelmersdale. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who are focused on making a difference to our local area.

You will use a full range of handheld plant including, strimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers and jet washes. You will have a clear understanding and knowledge of basic DIY. You must have a clean, full driving licence. You will have experience of working as part of a manual operational service and the ability to undertake tasks as directed to a high standard and be committed to health and safety and adherence to policy and procedures.

Hours of work are 8.30am - 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 4pm Friday. You may be required to work outside of these hours on occasions to meet the needs of the service.
