West Lancs Borough Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Leasehold Officer to join us on a permanent, full‑time basis to ensure compliance, customer satisfaction and the efficient management of West Lancashire's Leasehold and Shared Ownership properties.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Leasehold Manager in day‑to‑day work related to all leasehold and shared ownership matters.
  • Provide specialist advice, guidance and support to customers, including staircasing, lease queries and resales, to ensure a seamless home‑ownership experience.
  • Work closely with the Sundry Debtors and Legal teams to proactively manage service charge arrears.
  • Collaborate with wider housing teams to resolve lease‑holder enquiries and provide clear, informed guidance.
  • Maintain a customer‑focused approach with strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver clear guidance.
  • Support the development of a positive organisational culture, adhering to the Council's Expected Behavioural Standards and providing courteous customer care.
