Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for all service enquiries through our Contact Centre and Customer Service Point in Skelmersdale.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and establish which services are required, whilst ensuring that appropriate information and advice is given regarding all of the Council's services.
  • Act as an advocate and deal sympathetically and empathetically with a wide range of customers.
  • Work as a team player and under minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible in approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service provided between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
