This will involve providing expert advice and leading the development of policy and strategy in related areas. The post holder will work in close partnership with service managers and other healthcare professionals across Primary Care, to facilitate the delivery of a high quality effective clinical care. You will advise the Chief Executive and Board of Directors on all aspects of patient safety and quality.

The Director of Nursing and Quality will take responsibility for providing strategic leadership ensuring effective practice in relation to patient outcomes, development, and maintenance of care standards for all patients. The role will be central in working with the Senior Management Team and Board Directors to develop and deliver our strategy.

The post holder will provide oversight and leadership of HR processes having overall responsibility for staff performance management, recruitment, and retention. The post holder will oversee the work of our Workforce Team and work with our external HR advisor. They will have professional leadership and strategic direction to nursing staff and allied health professionals working across the organisation., * Respect

An exciting opportunity has become available to join West Kent Primary Care as Director of Nursing & Quality.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary individual to lead our clinical services, governance and workforce teams ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to patients and staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual who is autonomous and self-motivated with strong leadership skills and a professional approach that demonstrates our vision and values.

This post will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work alongside the Director of Finance and Associate Director of Operations and Strategy as part of the Senior Management Team, with line management of the Governance and Workforce Managers.

Applications are invited from Registered Nurses with experience at a senior level of working as Director of Nursing or Deputy Director of Nursing or equivalent. The successful candidate must be available to commence in post by the beginning of July.
