We are looking for someone to join our thriving Development Team to deliver a range of new-build and regeneration projects in Kent, in line with our exciting Growth and Regeneration Strategy.
You will be responsible for managing West Kent owned land and land-led new build development projects, so you should have a good knowledge of project management, collaborative working, and the planning approval process.
You will be working with our partners and stakeholders including landowners, developers, planners, legal advisors, valuers, and architects, and will be writing regular reports for our board and executive team. Therefore, you will need to have great verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
You should have been working in development for some time, and ideally have a professional qualification in construction, surveying, or project management. Not essential but a passion for placemaking, design, and planning with a good understanding of the NPPF would be desirable.
At West Kent, we are passionate about the role a housing association can play in society and believe the values of an organisation are what makes it special.
The role will be based in our Sevenoaks Office. We offer a flexible approach to hybrid working. The successful candidate will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle to visit development sites and pursue new opportunities for development across Kent.
