Accounts Payable Officer (£32,797 per annum, full-time) We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team.
This is an opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, maintaining strong financial controls, and helping West Kent deliver great services to our residents.
As a key member of the team, you'll manage invoices, supplier payments, reconciliations and queries while supporting compliance with procurement and financial regulations.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, build positive relationships with suppliers, and help identify opportunities to improve processes and deliver value for money.
What you'll do Process invoices, Direct Debits and supplier payments accurately and efficiently.
Resolve supplier queries and maintain excellent supplier relationships.
Complete reconciliations and support cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with procurement and financial control requirements by supporting procurement manager.
Support continuous improvement and help drive efficient ways of working.
Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues and external partners.
