Further information about the job:
The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. Mon – Fri Term Time Only - 7.5 hours per week + additional 30 hours during school holidays & INSET days. Grade 1 SCP3 £12.85 per hour - Actual Salary £4,946 (pay award pending) – paid over 12 months.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner who can commit to 1.5 hours per day during term time – working between 6‑8am, who can also support occasional additional hours to cover absences, and regular additional hours to perform deep cleans during school holidays.
What you may be doing:
- Working under the direction of the cleaning supervisor
- Cleaning designated areas, e.g. classrooms / offices / washrooms
- Mopping, sweeping, spray cleaning, damp wiping, vacuuming, as required
- Ensuring your area is clean and well kept
- Supporting colleagues in other areas where required
