We are looking for an Operations Executive to join our small team in Drimnin. This office role sits at the heart of the distillery’s operations and covers a wide range of processes. Perfect for someone looking to grow their career in a friendly, fast-paced environment with exposure to multiple different facets of Nc’nean’s sustainably-focused operations. Reporting into the Office Manager, this role will suit someone who is organised, with excellent attention to detail and who likes a challenge!

THE ROLE

  • Process orders for our local customers and distributors in the UK and abroad, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and timely.
  • Manage stock levels of each SKU at the distillery (including stock take) and 2 UK and one European warehouse, initiating stock movements as required.
  • Manage packaging procurement: sourcing, planning and ordering packaging supplies across our product range.
  • Manage goods in and out at the distillery including ensuring shipments are ready and with the correct paperwork and liaising with our bottling team on their requirements.
  • Being the first point of contact for our customers: answering or redirecting email queries, following up on orders, replying to online reviews and taking phone calls.
  • Support Office Manager with consents (e.g. SEPA, HMRC, organic certification).
  • Support Office Manager to deliver off-site production where required (e.g. our creamy whisky liqueur and miniatures).
  • Support our tours and front of house team as required, welcoming visitors, helping to clear up and supporting in the shop during busy months.
  • Amongst many other things…! We are a small team, and pride ourselves on getting stuck into whatever needs doing, and especially as the business evolves, so do the key tasks.

ROLE DETAILS

  • Based at Nc’nean Distillery, Drimnin, PA80 5XZ, distillery hours are 8am-5pm daily.
  • This role would be ideally suited for someone within commuting distance of the distillery in Drimnin, but we would be happy to receive applications from those further afield. The ability to visit the distillery weekly is the minimum requirement.
  • Whilst our preference is for a candidate who can commit to a full time role, we have the flexibility for this role to be part-time if required, with responsibilities adjusted accordingly. Please share your constraints when you apply.
  • Start date: early August 2026, or earlier if possible.
