The Role – Field Service Engineer This is a hands‑on, varied, and well‑paid engineering role where no two days are the same. * Travel to customer sites to service, maintain, install and commission ScaleAQ systems * Diagnose and repair equipment including motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, and PLC systems * Carry out workshop repairs at our Fort William base * Provide technical advice and support to customers * Complete electronic job sheets, risk assessments, and reports * Full product training provided Who We are Looking For * Aquaculture * Marine or offshore * Industrial maintenance * Manufacturing, automation, or plant engineering You will have * Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience * Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, or PLCs * Good IT and fault‑finding skills * A full UK driving licence * A flexible, problem‑solving mindset and strong communication skills Travel & On-Call * Mainland Scotland * Orkney * Western Isles * Ireland Some short‑notice travel is required, and you will join a weekend on‑call rota (with extra pay).
