The Role – Field Service Engineer

  • Travel to customer sites to service, maintain, install and commission ScaleAQ systems
  • Diagnose and repair equipment including motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, and PLC systems
  • Carry out workshop repairs at our Fort William base
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers
  • Complete electronic job sheets, risk assessments, and reports
  • Full product training provided

Who We are Looking For

  • Aquaculture Marine or offshore Industrial maintenance
  • Manufacturing, automation, or plant engineering
  • You will have Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience
  • Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, or PLCs
  • Good IT and fault-finding skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A flexible, problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills

Travel & On-Call

  • Mainland Scotland
  • Orkney
  • Western Isles
  • Ireland

Some short-notice travel is required, and you will join a weekend on-call rota (with extra pay).
