The School of Construction, based at our Hemel Hempstead Campus, is looking for a full time Plumbing Lecturer who can use their industry knowledge to help our budding plumbers excel within practical and theory environments.
This is an exciting opportunity for a plumbing lecturer, or qualified plumber experienced in industry, to develop a career into an established educational setting and share knowledge and skills with the next generation.
The successful candidate may be teaching and assessing young adults across a range of Levels 1 and 2 learners on full-time programs, adults on part-time evening courses and apprentices on day release from employers.
Our Plumbing courses are delivered by tutors with extensive knowledge and professional expertise of the industry and work closely with employers to develop students and their own skills.
As well as the relevant skills and industry standard qualifications in Plumbing, we are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for helping people of all ages and abilities to achieve their potential.
Holding a teaching, assessing and gas safe qualifications are desirable but not essential as training and the chance to achieve qualification whilst working for the College will be provided.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 10th August with interviews likely to take place in the week commencing 18th August.
