A new opportunity has arisen for a full-time Lecturer in Computing, teaching across both further and higher education courses.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, inspirational, and enthusiastic teacher who is current in relevant skills and forward thinking with technology. You will demonstrate a positive and motivational approach to thelearning experience for students to enhance their future career prospects within the industry.

You will be confident in developing engaging and interactive teaching and learning materials to stimulate and motivate a diverse range of students with differing needs. You will be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment outcomes of achievement with effective target setting for student progress and development of skills and knowledge. You will also provide personal tutoring.

You will be student focused, provide pastoral care and be a strong role model for our students. You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.

Computing qualifications are essential; the ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level. Holding a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as we are keen to hear from anyone with the right skills, subject knowledge or experience within industry. Training and the chance to achieve a teaching qualification will be provided.

We have a free on-site gym at our Watford Campus and you can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, pension, generous holiday scheme and time off at Christmas.

The successful candidate will be working 37 hours per week across our Watford and Hemel campuses.
