We are looking to appoint a Governance Lead for Medicine/ Emergency Medicine.

This role will support with the delivery and implementation of the Trust quality and risk management strategies within the Medicine and emergency medicine division. As part of this role you will develop and maintain relationships inter-divisionally and with the wider Quality and Governance Team. You will also be required to design, implement and maintain quality and governance dashboards, data collection tools, reporting and escalation methods. The successful candidate would be required to have previous experience within quality and governance work also a background of working with complaints and clinical and non-clinical incidents and also writing reports
You will be required to work Monday – Friday 7.5 hours per day. We do offer flexibility in working arrangements
The post holder is required to lead the medicine and emergency medicine governance team. Working with the Trust’s Governance team and other Divisional leads to oversee the implementation and monitoring of clinical governance within the Divisions.
The post holder has specific responsibility to implement, monitor and co-ordinate the management of risk within the Division. These services are provided over three sites. To support the development in risk awareness and risk management practices as an individual staff responsibility.
To maintain information systems which identify exposure to risks in all aspects of clinical activity.
