At the heart and soul of London since 1895, West Ham United is a dynamic, fan-focused football Club constantly moving forward but always with an eye on the past.

Our home at the London Stadium has a capacity of 62,500 making it one of the biggest club Stadia in the country however our tickets are the lowest priced for London based clubs in the Premier League, echoing objectives to create Affordable Family Football.

In 2018, our Women\'s team gained a professional status for the very first time, jumping 2 divisions and competed in the Women\'s Super League (WSL), the premier division of women\'s football in England. After finishing a respectable 7th, the team enjoyed particular success in the FA Cup reaching the final of the competition, eventually being beaten by 2017 winners Manchester City.

In April 2019, we opened our brand-new Academy facility based at Chadwell Heath which will help to bring through some of the very best talents in the area, the recent emergence of First Team Players Declan Rice and Ben Johnson are a testament to the work already being done at the Academy.

On the business side, we are continuing to create a Stadium our supporters can call home, with the renaming of the Billy Bonds Stand and Claret and Blue pitch surrounding amongst the latest developments. Additionally, the Club has achieved the Disability Confident Leader status.

Position

Job Title: Warehouse Driver/Online Store Assistant

Department: Retail

Location: London Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Contract Type: Full-Time (37.5hrs per week over five days out of seven)

Salary: London Living Wage

This is a dual-role position, supporting our main warehouse driver with deliveries to regional stores, while also assisting in our online dispatch area with picking, packing, and processing customer orders.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the main warehouse driver with deliveries to our retail stores across the region
  • Load and unload stock from the warehouse van safely, quickly, and efficiently
  • Issue delivery notes and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Receive, check in, and count incoming deliveries
  • Report any stock discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager
  • Assist with regular stock takes and general inventory management
  • Pick, pack, and process online and Click & Collect orders
  • Handle online customer returns and exchanges in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure all parcels are packed securely to minimise risk of damage during transit
  • Provide additional support to other retail locations including the Stadium Store and other West Ham United retail outlets when required
  • Assist with shirt printing and product personalisation as needed

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence with a clean record (no major endorsements or disqualifications) a minimum of 3 years driving experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (due to insurance requirements)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment, including driving vans (such as transit or panel vans) is preferred
  • Comfortable with loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
  • Basic understanding of vehicle safety checks and road safety regulations
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude when dealing with customers or team members
  • Strong coordination and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy
