Schools Programme Officer: Primary
East London & Essex | ÂŁ28,500 | Contract to Dec 2026 (to be extended in line with funding)
What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow our Extended Services offer from PE to clubs, bringing energy and excitement to every session.
- Recruit new primary schools and build strong relationships with Headteachers.
- Deliver inspirational PE lessons, classroom activities, football coaching and more.
- Coordinate and deliver our Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programme.
- Plan, track, and evaluate sessions, helping us keep winning off the pitch.
- Engage children from diverse communities and help them develop life‑skills.
- Work with the Education team to shape the future of WHUFs school programmes.
Requirements
- A passion for helping children learn, grow, and be active.
- Experience working with primary‑aged children in schools or community settings.
- A Level 2 coaching qualification (any sport!) and confidence delivering PE.
- Creativity, motivation, and the ability to plan inspiring sessions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build great professional relationships.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, equality and doing things the right way.
(If you don’t yet have First Aid or Safeguarding training, you can sort that out!)
