The Role
West Ham United are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to support with the planning, implementation and management of digital marketing channels. This role will focus on platform execution, performance optimisation, and data‑driven decision‑making to support key commercial objectives and drive fan growth. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced football environment, requiring strong experience in delivering and optimising paid media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day management of performance marketing channels including PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates, Remarketing and emerging platforms
- Develop and deliver comprehensive media plans that hit performance targets and stay on budget
- Test and refine audience targeting, creative, formats and messaging to maximise results
- Collaborate with internal teams across Retail, Ticketing, Hospitality and Memberships
- Manage fan acquisition and app install campaigns to grow engagement and loyalty
- Produce clear, insightful paid media reporting, turning data into actionable insight
- Implement and optimise pixels, events and conversion tracking across platforms
- Stay ahead of platform updates, industry trends and paid media best practice
Person Specification
- 3+ years hands‑on digital marketing experience (PPC, Paid Social, Remarketing)
- Experience across Google, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and Affiliate Networks
- Proven ability managing budgets and forecasting performance
- Strong knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio
- Degree‑level education or equivalent experience
