We welcome applications from people with different backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and career journeys. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute, develop and thrive.
THE ROLE
As Women’s Academy Therapist, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy and medical support across the PGA and Pathway, working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
You will take a lead role in player assessment, rehabilitation, matchday provision and clinical decision-making, while helping create a culture of high performance, learning and player-centred care.

- Clinical Service Delivery: Assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries within your scope of practice. Deliver evidence-informed rehabilitation across the gym and pitch, alongside player preparation, strapping, recovery and monitoring.
- Clinical Governance: Maintain high standards of clinical governance, documentation, TMA processes, emergency action plans, equipment and day-to-day medical operations.
- Screening & Player Monitoring: Coordinate MSK screening and player monitoring, translating findings into individual preparation, gym programming, rehabilitation and player development plans.
- Injury & Illness Surveillance: Monitor injury and illness trends, using data and case review to identify opportunities for improvement and support injury risk-reduction and player availability strategies.
- Player Transition & Continuity of Care: Support seamless medical transitions between the Pathway, PGA and First Team, ensuring clear communication, handovers and continuity of care.
- Pathway Support: Act as a key day-to-day medical contact for Pathway staff, supporting injury assessment and longer-term rehabilitation planning while ensuring appropriate clinical oversight and escalation.
