The West Grantham Church of England Secondary Academy has two vacancies for a Teaching Assistant Level 1. The post holders will be required to work 32.50 hours per week for 39 weeks per year.
As part of this role, the successful candidates will:
- Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
- Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
- Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:
- An excellent practitioner committed to high standards for all children.
- Ideally, has experience of working with children with social and emotional needs
- Has high expectations of the children in terms of behaviour and learning
