We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Operator to join our busy Warehouse team based at our Cowie site. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you will contribute to the safe and efficient movement, organisation and preparation of goods across a 3-shift operational pattern. This is a temporary position, reporting directly to the GM Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely and to required standards.
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles, typically around 21 trucks per shift (approx. one every 18 minutes).
  • Pre-assemble a minimum of 20 loads per shift, which requires extended periods operating warehouse equipment.
  • Follow all health & safety protocols, including SSOW and risk assessments.
  • Maintain clean, tidy and organised working areas.
  • Stack goods accurately in designated storage bays.
  • Use Microsoft AX and RF-Smart systems for stock movements.
  • Prepare loads in accordance with DSA guidelines.
  • Conduct quarterly cycle counts, including removing, scanning and replacing stock.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to carry out physical tasks safely and accurately.
  • Strong concentration and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Good judgement of measurements (weights, heights, lengths).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Adaptability to operate various warehouse equipment following training.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, working closely with colleagues and visiting drivers.
  • Commitment to maintaining strict safety standards.
