The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.
This is a central compliance position with genuine influence across multiple UK and European manufacturing sites. You will provide governance, consistency, and clear standards, ensuring our operations meet certification requirements and regulatory expectations. You’ll work closely with on‑site teams, senior stakeholders, suppliers, and auditors, shaping how compliance is implemented and managed across the business.
What You'll be Doing
- Maintaining and developing the multi‑site Chain of Custody scheme
- Producing COC reporting, analysis and ensuring data accuracy
- Providing integration and information support to Sales teams
- Managing trademarking and labelling requirements
- Managing internal and external audits, audit schedules, improvement actions and certification programmes
- Developing and maintaining key management systems, policies and controlled documentation
- Supporting compliance for waste management and recycled wood processes
- Managing systems, queries and compliance activities related to EUDR
What We're Looking For
Experience and Knowledge
- Experience in compliance, governance, sustainability, certification or responsible sourcing (preferably in manufacturing)
- Understanding of compliance frameworks and their application across multi‑site operations
- Highly organised, self‑managing and comfortable working off‑site and independently
- Full UK Driving Licence (due to multi site travel)
- Experience with Chain of Custody schemes (e.g., FSC®, PEFC™)
- Knowledge of EUDR or similar regulatory frameworks
- Experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or responsible supply chain systems
Skills and Behaviours
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability
- Confident interpreting technical data and translating it into practical system changes
- Highly organised with the ability to manage your own workload and schedule independently
Additional Information
- Primarily based at Cowie, Stirlingshire
- Travel required to UK and European sites
- Mix of on‑site, remote and audit-based activity
- Overnight stays may be required depending on site schedules
