West End Refugee Service (WERS) in Newcastle upon Tyne invites applicants for up to two Community Engagement Officers. The role is 22.5 hours per week across 3 or 4 days, with a fixed-term contract of 12 months subject to funding.
You will recruit, support and coordinate volunteers, organise and deliver community activities and projects, deliver talks to diverse audiences, and provide personalised guidance to clients to access opportunities and rebuild their lives in the region.
