An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join the Finance Team at West Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) as a Finance Officer. West Dunbartonshire HSCP aims to improve the health and well-being of West Dunbartonshire residents and is responsible for the planning and delivery of high-quality health and social care services to and with the communities of West Dunbartonshire.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting both the Finance Team and wider Partnership Service Areas in the development of an effective finance service that supports the strategic objectives of the HSCP by providing support in developing, communicating, and delivering strong partnership working, while ensuring high levels of service delivery in line with the HSCP’s corporate objectives. In addition, you will support the delivery of statutory accounting functions.
We are looking for someone who is positive, enthusiastic, reliable, conscientious, and dependable with a professional outlook to working in a busy environment, has a relevant accountancy qualification to HNC level, and can demonstrate previous finance experience of budget setting/monitoring and final accounts preparation. Previous experience of working in the public sector within either a local authority or a health board is desirable. The role is offered in a hybrid working arrangement with a mixture of home and office working.
