The predicted salary is between 30000 - 30000 £ per year.
The salary will be pro rata to the number of hours worked. (Hourly rate £15.54 per hour) We are looking to welcome experienced and motivated home carers to join our Reablement Care at Home Service on a permanent or sessional basis. Successful candidates will have a positive outlook, enthusiasm for learning and a genuine interest in working with people. We are particularly keen to hear from people who are patient and empathic with skills in communication and problem solving. The role is community-based therefore a full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous. All successful candidates should have an SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 6 or SVQ 2 Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this to gain SSSC registration within 3 months of appointment.
Requirements: This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities: The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants are, therefore, not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are "spent" under the provisions of the Act. In the event of employment any failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
