An opportunity has become available within the Finance department to support a Finance Business Unit. This role involves all aspects of financial support within the Business Unit.
Main duties include assisting Accounting Professional Staff to effectively manage budgets corporately and within specific services, ensuring the consolidation of year-end accounts, budgets, and monthly reports.
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 National 4 Qualifications (including Maths or equivalent) or equivalent experience, as this is an essential requirement.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will need to complete a Level 1 Disclosure check before a formal offer is made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities
The employment for which you are applying is exempt from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
