Job Description West Dunbartonshire Working4U Team are recruiting a Working 4U Officer to support Fairer Futures Partnership delivery.
The postholder will develop and deliver high quality provision to young people who are at risk of or involved with community justice.
Delivering one to one and groupwork support, you will support young people aged 16 - 24 and their families to enhance their personal, social and educational skills as well as providing whole family support.
Your approach will focus on early intervention, resilience, and whole-family support, with a strong emphasis on trauma- informed services.
The post is initially until 30/03/2027 with potential extension based on funding.
Requirements This post is considered a Regulated Role with Adults and Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
