The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Post 1 - 24 hours per week (Permanent) (Work Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 7.00am - 7.00pm). The salary will be pro-rata'd to the hours worked.
Post 2 - 31.5 hours per week (Permanent) (Work Pattern: Night Shift Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The salary will be pro-rata'd to the hours worked.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sheltered Housing Supervisors to supervise the day-to-day operation of our Sheltered Housing Service, ensuring a safe, supportive, and high-quality living environment for our tenants. You will play a key role in supporting tenants to maintain their independence while coordinating support services and health and safety arrangements within the complex. This role will involve providing practical and personal care as and when required.
We are looking for someone who has experience working in Sheltered Housing, Care or Support Services and is able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and organisational skills. You should be confident managing competing priorities and working independently as well as being empathetic, professional and tenant-focused. You should have effective communication skills (both verbally and written), a positive professional attitude and the ability to build positive relationships with service users and colleagues as well as being able to follow processes and procedures and work as part of a team. It is desirable that you hold a SVQ Level 2 in Social Care or an equivalent qualification at SCQF Level 5 or above.
Requirements: This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities: The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants are, therefore, not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are "spent" under the provisions of the Act. In the event of employment any failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
