West Dunbartonshire Council are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to lead our Roads Operations service, a team of multi-skilled operatives in delivering a high quality service within West Dunbartonshire Council Roads and Transportation Team. The applicant should be a pro-active individual and have knowledge and experience in effectively managing a Roads Operations Service.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring effective planning, programming and co-ordination of works to maximise the productivity of service whilst achieving excellent front-line delivery. You will have responsibility for depot management, cyclic maintenance, minor civil works, major projects, street lighting and winter maintenance.

The candidate will need to be confident with good verbal and written communication skills who can quickly establish good working relationships. The successful candidate will have an HND/Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
