PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE CASUAL POSTS TO WORK AS AND WHEN REQUIRED WITHIN THE CLYDEBANK AREA - NO FIXED BASE. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operation of Facilities Management Services within various premises as required. There will be a requirement to undertake a combination of duties with a flexible day to day variable need, this will include staff supervision, key holding responsibility, cleaning duties, porterage, food handling and various other duties as detailed in the job profile.
The post holder will require to adhere to Food Safety Systems of Work and Health and Safety legislations and previous experience in this line of work would be an advantage. The successful candidate should be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
