A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Care Home Depute Manager in Queens Quay House. The post holder will support the Care Home Manager in the overall management of staff to ensure efficient and effective 24-hour service delivery. The successful candidate will be expected to manage the home in the absence of the Manager. The post holder will also support the Manager in driving continuous improvement, ensuring the provision and maintenance of the highest standard of care and service in accordance with National Care Standards, current legislation and West Dunbartonshire's policies and procedures including health and safety legislation. They will be responsible for delegated management of the care home and will oversee day to day delivery of high quality person centered care to residents. The post holder will be expected to undertake on call duties on a rotational basis.
Applicants must demonstrate relevant qualifications, leadership experience and a knowledge of care home legislation and best practice.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
